This project encompassed a logistics and safety conformance study of packaged hazardous materials (hazmat) from their receipt on the site to the user in the manufacturing and service support operations.
The scope of work included both a qualitative and quantitative analyses of requirements at the plant site including an analysis of transactions, receipts, issues, and service criteria.
A hazmat facility was developed, designed, and detailed for each of three large manufacturing buildings. Each facility was designed to accommodate flammables, combustibles, corrosives, acids, and other regulated materials. The result of the hazmat facility designs provided support and service control for the installation of an automatic mini-bulk oil and coolant/solvent system which provided the Client with substantial economic savings.
